Go to the ‘Media’ tab on the left hand side of your screen.

Click ‘Add New.’

Browse/Upload your media files

Once uploaded, you can add titles and descriptions to the file(s)

Copy the link from the ‘File URL’ field.

You will need to do this for each track you want uploaded in your Discography.

2. Activate the Discography by licking on the ‘Plugins’ tab on the left hand side of your screen. Once activated (or if already activated) it will appear as a new icon. To create a discography, follow these steps:

Select ‘Groups/Albums’ to begin creating your Discography.

Add a new group or album by filling out the required fields and pressing ‘Add Album/Group.’

You can add as many albums or groups as you would like by selecting the ‘add another group/album’ button.

Now that you’ve created a group, when you select ‘Groups/Albums’ it will appear in a list.

Now select the music note icon with the green star (located on the right hand side of the ‘Groups/Albums’ menu) to add new songs. If you are unsure which icon to press, hover your mouse over the image to see its function.

To add a new song, enter the song’s title, and other relevant information. If you’re charging users to access your song, enter a price for the track.

If you are charging users to access you song, enter the track link (the one you copied from the ‘File URL’ field) in the ‘Purchase Download Link’ field.

If you want your tracks to be available for free, enter the track link in the ‘Free Download/Streaming Link.’

Once you’ve uploaded your song(s), they will appear in a list under the ‘Songs’ tab.

If you have multiple albums in your Discography and want to sort them by category, select the ‘Categories’ tab

Create a new category by selecting ‘Add New’ and entering the title of the category.

Once the category is created, it will appear under the ‘Groups/Albums’ tab.

You can drag your albums/groups to rearrange them under the appropriate categories.

In this tutorial, learn the difference between a post and a page. Learn how to create, edit, and manage your pages, and how to work with subordinate and parent pages.

To access, edit and manage your pages, select the ‘Pages’ tab on the left hand side of your screen.

What is the difference between a post and a page?

Posts appear in reverse-chronological order (the most recent appearing first) and are ideal for recent updates, news, and events.

Pages are like different sections, or chapters of your website, and are ideal for important information (i.e, “Contact,” “About” etc.)

Add, Edit and Delete Pages:

To add a new page, select ‘Add New’ from the left hand side of your screen.

Now you can enter the title and content of your page, and add media.

Each new page you create will be recognized as a ‘Main Page’ by default.

You can make any number of your pages ‘subordinate’ pages by going to the ‘Attributes’ section on the right hand side of your screen.

To make a page ‘subordinate,’ simply choose it’s ‘parent’ page from the drop down menu. Subordinate pages will not show up in the main menu of pages on your website, but they will be visible when someone visits the parent page. Example:Main Page: About Me
– Sub Page 1: My Family
– Sub Page 2: My Career

Hover your mouse over the title of the page to select ‘Edit,’ ‘View,’ or ‘Delete.’

Don’t forget to press Update Page when you’re done!
